Cranberry and Brie Puff Pastries

Want a fast, easy and delicious appetizer? You and your friends will gobble these up within seconds.  They're so yummy and look like you slaved away in the kitchen all day. This dish can really be taken in so many different directions. I have for you today cranberry and brie puff pastries.

All you need for this easy recipe are three ingredients: brie, cranberry sauce and puff pastry dough. You'll want to thaw out the dough the night before by placing into the refrigerator.

Ideally, you'll want to roll the dough out with a rolling pin.  I didn't have a rolling pin so I just stretched it out a little but, not very pretty, but it worked.  Then cut the dough into twelve squares with a pizza cutter.

Lightly grease a muffin pan with spray oil.  Place each square of dough into the muffin pan and gently push down.

Place a bite size slice of brie topped with a small scoop of cranberry sauce into each puff pastry.

Bake for 12-15 minutes at 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Remove from the oven and let cool in the pan for a few minutes.

You will be left with a gooey, tart pastry that you'll be sure to eat up fast. Play around with different ingredients to make sweeter or more savory, whatever your preference.

Cranberry and Brie Puff Pastries
1 sheet of puff pastry dough
1 small wedge of brie
1 small container of cranberry sauce

Take puff pastry dough out of freezer and into the fridge overnight to thaw. Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Roll pastry dough out. Use pizza cutter to cut 12 squares in the dough. Place each square of dough into a greased muffin pan. Fill each piece of dough with a bite size slice of brie and a small scoop of cranberry sauce, careful not to overfill. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Let cool in the pan for a few minutes.  Enjoy!
